The updated version also contains a News Feed and a useful Track & Trace system, allowing users to follow a shipment from the beginning to the end of its journey by tracking both air and sea cargo consignments directly with airlines and shippers.
Managing Director, Rachel Humphrey says "Canalys reports that mobile device shipments, including notebooks, tablets and smartphones, exceeded 300 million units in the first quarter of 2013! Despite these figures, connection speeds can be frustrating. We want Freightbook users to have a good experience with our website, whether on a large PC screen or on their mobile devices and feel that the new version provides many performance improvements when searching for the details of over 1000+ freight forwarders registered with Freightbook."
The micro site is available on iPads, iPhones, BlackBerrys and android mobile devices by going to m.freightbook.net.
